FLAFA Winter Trainings and Clinics
FOREST LAKE FASTPITCH WINTER CLINIC
Winter clinics are hosted by the Forest Lake High School Players and Coaches, with help from FLAFA Board members and Coaches. The Clinics are a great opportunity to jump start your upcoming spring/summer season! Come meet the High School players and coaches while you work through warm up's and drills that will be used all season long! Improve your hitting, throwing, receiving and fielding skills! And even get a chance to work on Pitching and Catching! Many of your coaches and teammates will be there, so its a great chance to get to know your team and start to form that "oh so important" team bond long before the fields thaw out!
Registration is REQUIRED and will close at 11:55pm on Saturday January 4th

Optimize Physical Therapy in Blaine is also offering some off season training, please visit the link below to register for their programs.
- Optimize Elite: Higher level of training and commitment than our single day Development camp. You must be an A and/or high level B player to participate.
- With increased success that past couple of years we once again will be adding to these in the 2024-2025 off-season. Now offering 8-10u, 12U and 14-16U training options.
- 2 days/week of softball specific training (1.5 hours Monday and Wednesday) October 21st- March 5th Cost: > $20/hr (33 total sessions)
- 2 days/week of strength and conditioning (1 hour)- Although they can technically come to any of the training sessions during the week, there will be sessions specifically made for them to come before/after their specific softball training on Monday and Wednesday for those that are driving a ways to get here. Cost: >$15/hr (33 total sessions)
- 1 day/week of open gym (Friday evening). There will be an Optimize staff there to help facility, but there is no "instruction" on Friday open gyms. Cost: $10/hr (17 total sessions)
- Monthly payment options available
- Total cost: $1,500
- Winter Development
- 1 day/week training October 26th- March 1st (2 hours every Saturday)
- 1 hour of hitting focus and one hour of defense/throwing focus
- Monthly payment options available
- Total cost: $725
- 6 Week Catching and Catching specific Camps
- 1 day/week training
- Camp dates and times will be added in Early September as we solidify facility availability.
